Tres Rios is unique because of its huge nature taciturnity and assorted activities that go with that—things you pay a fortune for booking them on the fly in Playa del Carmen. Grand Velas stands out because of its amazing restaurants, lounges that make you think you got beamed to Mexico City’s swankiest neighborhoods, and cavernous rooms stocked with lots of goodies and gadgets.
